On the 18th October, Altice Labs welcomed a group of students from the University of Aveiro, from the Biomedical Engineering, Physical Engineering and Computer Engineering courses, giving them the opportunity to get to know the company's facilities and some of its projects.

The visit began with a brief presentation of the company, with Gabriela Moura from the Human Resources department and culminated with a presentation of projects by Victor Marques from the Network Systems Development department. In the spirit of good mood, attention and commitment, the students were always interacting and expressing interest in what was being exposed to them. To Mariana, from the Biomedical Engineering course "It was a very interesting and positive visit to get to know the company and its projects. I recommend the visit", as for Diogo Azevedo from the Physical Engineering course "The experience was equally positive, namely, to see the range of works developed in various areas, such as electronics, physics and research...".

On the 25th October, Altice Labs received the Ribatejo Technical and Vocational School with 50 students from the 11th and 12th grade of the Computer Equipment Management Technical Course for a visit to the company's facilities, allowing the students to have contact with the professional reality and to know the working methods in a company, its projects and some of the techniques in development.

The visit began with a presentation of Altice Labs, followed by an overview of the Netwin product by João Guerrinha from the Operations Support Systems department and culminated in a presentation by Paula Cravo, from the Technology and Innovation Strategy department, on "Cybersecurity and the Altice Labs Innovation and Development Ecosystem". The students showed their appreciation throughout their visit to the laboratories and museum and made some comments about it, namely, Ricardo from the 11th grade mentioned "The visit was interesting, I liked to see everything, opening the curiosity to find out more about the area", and Jessica, from the same grade, "The topics covered were very interesting, exceeding what I expected of the visit to the company, of which I had already heard about". As for professor Luís Magalhães, the desire to return is huge. "I really enjoyed the visit, reception and organization, I will come back with new students…".

October ended with a visit of 46 students from the Batalha Schools Group on the 30th October to the campus of Altice Labs. For these students from the 10th and 11th grade of the Computer Systems Management and Programming Technical Course, one of the goals of this visit was to have contact with the reality of technology companies that play an important role in the development of the information and communication society in our country.

The visit began with a presentation by Altice Labs, followed by an overview of the NetQ product by Cátia Felizardo, from the Operations Support Systems department and a presentation with José Fernandes, from the Network and Platform Systems department, on the BotSchool product. Students interacted throughout the visit stating that "They really liked the labs, the museum and the presentations…". On the other hand, for one of the teachers what mostly caught his attention were the themes addressed on the presentations "Sometimes we talk about theoretical concepts in which they do not realize their applicability, with this visit it was possible to understand the application of some these concepts. I really enjoyed the NetQ and BotSchool presentations…".
