Created in 22 of December of 1999, PT Sistemas de Informação (PT-SI) is the company of Portugal Telecom group responsible for the supply of Information Systems and Technological Solutions (IS/IT) for the corporate market.

With the merger between the communications and technological areas, as a direct consequence of technology conversion, the PT Group offering began to integrate systems and Technologies components, apart from the communications’ solutions.

PT-SI operates in the emergent segment of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) that gathers communication services with systems and technology.

With the PT Groups’ vast knowledge and know-how, PT-SI strives to contribute to their clients’ competitiveness, adding value through:

- Advising and supporting the specific design needs for technology solutions and systems, through NCIT - Network Centric IT.
- System integration in complex architectures, embracing legacy systems with market applications.
- Outsourcing services for the management of network NCIT integrated solutions, in a lease system, without the need of acquiring equipment or licensing.

The PT Group presence in the communications market of Africa, South America and Asia has played a significant part in the internationalization of PT-SI, in this way complementing the Group operations. Furthermore PT-SI has been developing IS projects in reference European companies, as Renault, Fnac and Artsana.
