ISO 9001
The process management approach was implemented in PT-SI early on, culminating with the ISO 9001 certification achievement in December of 2002. This certification is an important factor regarding a competitive differentiation as well as providing internal benefits to the organization.

ISO 14001 and NP 4397 / OHSAS 18001
In May of 2008, PT-SI obtained the environmental certification ISO14001 and the norm certification NP 4397 / OHSAS 18001 regarding safety and work health.

The Quality, environmental, safety and work health certifications are focused on Business Consulting, Consulting and System and Information Technologies Planning, Development and Infrastructures and Solutions Implementation, System Integration, Outsourcing.

PMI
Towards a continuous improvement of the work processes, we implemented PMBoK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) of PMI (Project Management Institute), regarding the processes of project management. In this scope a comprehensive number of PT-SI Project Managers have obtained PMP certifications; PT- SI is the company with largest certification numbers in the country.

ITIL
PT-SI has been implementing in its processes several ITIL good practices, considered to be the best of public and private sectors worldwide, training several workers from Foundation to Expert levels.

CMMI 3
The most recent 2011 landmark achieved was the level 3 CMMI-DEV certification (Capability Maturity Model Integration - Development) on the Integration and Application Development, attributed by SEI (Software Engineering Institute). The CMMI focus is in the software and systems engineering, integrated products and development processes and the improvement strategies selection.

CMMI is the norm by excellence in the area of software development and maintenance, consisting in defining a set of best practices applicable to all projects lifecycle.

Lean Six-Sigma
In alignment with the goals of increased efficiency, process quality and SI/TI best practices, PT-SI has several initiatives undergoing, based on the Lean 6 Sigma methods. In 2011, PT-SI will start a triennial program of Lean 6 Sigma certification, GreenBelt level, aimed for its consultants.
